28-8-2011 to 31-8-2011	42^nd KVS Regional Football and swimming meet was concluded in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 4, Jalandhar Cantt today. The meet was inaugurated on 28^th August 2011 by Col. K.B. Yadava, Chairman nominee VMC. Eighteen teams from Jammu Region had come to play in the meet. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Jalandhar Cantt has won Gold Medal in Football while Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 4 had to be content with Silver Medal, although the team had been winning Gold for the last 7 years. KV Nagrota has bazzed Bronze medal. In swimming, Pranjal of KV 2, Kuldeep of KV 2 Jammu, Prakash of KV 2, Abhishek Tomar of KV 2 Jammu and Prakteek and Shorav of KV 1 Jammu won Gold Medals in Swimming. Principal Sh. R.K. Lomra declared the meet close. A.S. Gill, Principal K.V. No. 1 Jalandhar Cantt and Sh G.S. Sethi Principal KV Suranussi were also present to witness the final match.

13-1-2010	K.V. 4, JRC Celebrated Lohri in school premises. Principal, Mr. R.K. Lomra , Vice principal Ms. Usha Bhatia etc. lit the fire, childern performed a beautiful dance on Lohri Song. Some students also sang some popular songs. The groundnuts, popcorns and revari were distributed among students and staff members. In the end, the Principal Mr. R.K. Lomra sang a beautiful song Lohri song expressing his happiness. He awarded a student "Dilpreet" for playing "Dhokla" enthusiastically.
