Our Mission

K.V. No. 4, Jalandhar Cantt is an institution which has since its inception kept alive the vision and the mission of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. A sincere endeavor is made to nurture the children in such a way that they become responsible citizens, having the true spirit of Indianness as well as a global vision. The school started its journey 1997 with classes I to V. Today it is a flourishing 3 section senior secondary school, with Science and Commerce stream. Though the school does not have permanent building or land, the staff compensates by putting extra effort to make learning process enjoyable and interesting sincere efforts are made for the holistic development of a child and for improvement of their emotional, spiritual and social quotients.

The road to success and improvement is unending and the journey long but K.V. No. 4 Jalandhar is treading the path firmly and purposefully.

KVS has a four fold mission viz:- 

·         To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.

·         To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.

·         To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.

·         To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
