Co-curricular Activities

The Strategy:

With an aim to ensure mass participation, the whole school is divided into four houses. Inter-Class and Inter House competitions are organized. Apart from it, students participate in various competitions organized at KVS level.

Literacy Skills:

Competitions of   essay writing, debate, declamation, recitation, paper reading, quiz, extempore and creative writing were organized.

Music:

Chilern are trained to sing community songs a a routine in the prayer. Singing and dancing competitions were organized at individual and group level.

Performing Art:

Special dance teacher and Art teacher were engaged for hobby classes who trained the students in different types of dances.

SUPW:

On 4 April 2007, under Mission Green India Painting competition was organized on the theme 'Environment Presentation, Don't Cut Trees. Diwali Greeting Card making, Diya and candle making competition were also organized.

Yoga:

Yoga Was organized under NAEP twice for which experts were invited.

Eco Club:

The school has maintained beautiful Botanical Garden.

Best Class Trophy:

Best Class trophy was awarded to Class VI A on the basis of their performance in the morning assembly throughout the year.

Inter House Display Board Competition:

Inter House display boards were decorated on important occasions like children day, Independence Day, Republic Day, and topic like Water Conservation, Environment care etc.

Computer as an optional subject in class XI and XII

Information Practices is running as Optional Computer subject in class XI and XII.

General Computer Traning:

General computer training is given to student from class 3 to 10.
